dv rig pro

I've got one and used it. It's good for what it does but for my needs the Glidecam or other such device is a little more useful. On our movie, we used both the DV Rig Pro and a Glidecam (and a Varizoom DV Sportster). It really depends on what you need but yes, it's a good piece of equipment.

If I may, You can't compare the DvRigPro which is a camera support to a Glidecam
or similar products that are stabilizers.

Danny.

I understand that. I'm just looking at the cost of each unit. Glidecam (no vest) and the DV Rig Pro. A lot depends on what you are going to use it for. As I said, I have both and for my purposes I use the Glidecam more. If I could only have one, it would be the Glidecam BUT I can see where the DV Rig Pro might be more beneficial like on the sidelines of a sporting event or on the street interviews. :)

You've got a good product, Danny. You shouldn't take what I said as a "knock" on your product, I was just giving my opinion based on my experience. Again, so much depends on the needs of the project.
