I heard that serious magic is coming out with a version of DV Rack that supports DVCPRO HD. On that note, are they going to come out with a mac based version?
There will not be a mac-based version, they've answered that before and it's in their FAQ's. DV Rack is built around a Windows component, DirectShow, and without that the program doesn't exist. Mac doesn't have it, so no Mac version.
Redrock Micro is coming out with a program that may prove to be a DV Rack alternative, and they are planning on having a Mac version. However, I don't know if they're even thinking about HD support for it yet.
