DV rack minimum spec?

I've got an old laptop lying around somewhere. It's really old -- Pentium 1, 32mb of ram, HD size unknown -- and I was wondering, can I use it with DV rack to capture some footage?

The HD will only be 1GB at the most, so I was also thinking I could save the footage to an external HD via usb.

What d'you guys think? Is this possible?

Just found the minimum spec... Seems like I missed out. Oh well...
