DV-Rack HD files in Vegas 12

I'm showing my age, but I still have two old laptops that I like to use for recording clips from my HVX200. The tools in DV Rack still make shooting great footage a lot easier.

However, I can't get the clips to play in Vegas 12. I did however, happen to have Vegas 9 on one of those old laptops and the footage did play there. So it must be something with 12. Any ideas how to get into V12 other than re-rendering them in 9 on the old laptop?

Thanks for any help!

Mark, I used to use DV Rack. Doesn't it record in avi file format? That should be pretty universal.

I just opened a old file, I am pretty sure was record with DV Rack and had no problem with Vegas Pro 13.

I would use something like Media info to make sure of the file format. Good luck with it, James
