dv rack hd 2.0 users, please read

I think Adobe sent me the wrong box, software, etc. Isn't the disc
itself suppose to be red and state that it's dv rack hd 2.0? My disc is blue
and there isn't a sign on it that states it's hd 2.0, though Adobe
assures me it is. Please let me know what your manual looked like, was it
blue or red? And the disc. I've been on perpetual hold with Adobe and
no one seems to be picking up so I can ask them direct.

I downloaded the upgrade from DV Rack 1.0 and have never seen the retail box for DV Rack 2.0 HD. Also, now that Adobe has assimilated Serious Magic, they may have changed the box again.

Having said all that, I think you have the wrong software. That's because of the following post on the Serious Magic forum:

I saw a similar post to yours on an Adobe forum. Apparently, somebody screwed up and the wrong version of DV Rack (1.0) media was being shipped out with DV Rack 2.0 serial numbers. He said Adobe is recalling the media from resellers now; but in the meantime they are giving people who got these mismatched products, DV Rack 1.0 serial numbers so that they can begin working immediately and then shipping them the DV Rack 2.0 replacement disks. Granted, it's not the way it's supposed to work, but in the short term, you got a two for one deal.

The best suggestion I have right now is to stay on the phone with the support drones and explain what you know and what I've told you. Escalate the problem until you get hold of someone who knows what's going on.
 
Thanks for the help. I finally got hold of someone and they said that they mislabled
a batch (how can you mislable a batch?) and they're going to exchange it.
Hopefully it will work out.
