DV on DVCPRO50 24pn timeline in FCP?

What is the best way of converting and using dv material on a DVCPRO50 25pn (PAL) timeline in FCP?

I'd say use compressor, or just export the original footage in FCP as a quicktime movie in DVCPRO50 25pn format and start a new sequence with that.
