DV Bootcamp in San Francisco...

Good evening,

First post to the boards and I'm looking for some advice.

Has anyone had any experience with the DV Bootcamp classes up in San Francisco, CA?

Reason I'm asking, I'm new to video and I want to kinda jumpstart the learning process. Their 4 day DV bootcamp seems like it would hit on the topics I most need help with.

Thanks for any advice or thoughts anyone would care to share.

you are already ahead of the gang! u currently are enrolled in dvx university. here at dvx university you will learn about all aspects of filmmaking rather it be digital or film. all you have to do is "ask questions". im sure someone on here can help you out with anything you want to know. if you already have equip. then good. practice! practice ! practice! use those 4 days that you would spend at class, on here. i mean you have to eat, sleep, and live for this industry. i promise you will come out of your 4 day dvx university with more knowledge than you would paying for it at some workshop, that only wants to take your money. read directors bios, rather it be spot directors, film directors, mv directors,........... here is a website that you might find helpful. www.video101.com

remember "ask questions"

you may know exit this thread and start on your path to getting your b.a. in film here at dvx university.

is there a web site link to this SF program? i'm sure that you will get plenty of tangible feedback if you can provide it here.

Out of curiousity, are you refering to a class offered by Film Arts?
