How do I add the duration of a clip over the video? You know, like when we see "outtakes" in DVD extras and the video has the black box at the bottom with white digits counting the seconds of the video? Thanks!

Those numbers are "burned in," recorded when the lab telecines the film footage onto the tapes.
You can try the TIMECODE READER in the VIDEO FILTERS>VIDEO folder. But that will get you the clips TC only. All the other information you see on those DVD extras are tape TC, AUDIO TC, and film keycode information.
