Duration of footage changes after re-opening of project

Vegas worked a bit, but the captures were all borked, so to speed the recapture process I'm giving Cineform aspect HD a go. Works great, and editing HDV .AVI files seems to be the way.

Thanks for all your help. Unfortunately I cannot retrieve my edits, but I've wasted enough time when I could have started again.
