I have transcoded my AVCHD footage to quicktime keeping the same hierarchy. That means I have the .mov files with same name in different folders. Then sent to post house. They 'ama linked' the footage and did a rough cut. Now when I export an EDL it is over writing the files since they have the same name. Can anybody help me if there is a way to tell Avid to look for the file location rather than just the file name itself.
