Duel Adapter problems loading on Mac Book Pro

I just got a Duel Adapter to transfer my P2 cards to my MacBook Pro
only problem is as soon as I plug the Duel Adapter into the Express port
the computer shuts down!
Has anybody else had this problem?
Does anybody know a fix?

reboot with the adapter inserted. that's as per the usage instructions.

Did you download the drivers from duel and Panasonic. If you didn't thats what will happen because it happened to me. search the boards for details. You need both duel and panasonic drivers for it to work.

Thanks guys, I did download the drivers from Panasonic and Duel and its working great now.
