I'm just letting you all know about this so the same thing doen't happen to you. I was on a job dumping P2 cards using a Macbook Pro and Duel Adapter, and putting the footage on 2 Lacie 320gig little big disks. I had the computer plugged in the wall and was dumping my last card when the DP had to leave. The power cord on the macbook pro was his friends, so he needed to take it when he left and couldn't wait, aparently he was in a hurry. I wouldn't do it so he unplugged it. When he did that the P2 card went offline. It turned out somehow the switch from AC to battery on the Macbook Pro fried the duel Adapter, it hasn't worked since. It must have been some kind of a power surge, because the Macbook Pro's battery was all of a sudden running 5 harddrives. The DP was freaking out until we found out the footage was fine. I dumped the last card with the camera. I think he learned his lesson.
