Due to Twilight's inability to die off....

A friend of mine is a dead ringer for Robert Pattinson. Just for kicks he decided to go out to Forks last weekend. He said it was... interesting.
 
Haha, I can imagine that'd be... yes, interesting. Especially if he was playing the part: signing autographs, etc. Could definitely have a good laugh.
 
My girlfriend came home with New Moon after work and she's forcing me to watch it tonight. Just like part 1. :(
 
Ouch... very ouch. Well hey, anything bad I have to say about those movies is nulled if it means getting in good with the lady. That's important too.
 
Go see these movies in the theater instead of waiting for your gf to bring home the dvd. When your at home, your trapped and all alone, when your with all the other guys in the theater, they provide a good laugh track.
 
My wife brought home a copy of Twilight and disliked it as much as I did.

Her taste in vampires runs more to Nosferatu. At least he doesn't glitter.
 
I'm hearing that "True Blood" on HBO is pretty good. A little cheesy, but some fans admit, but I'm willing to check it out. Was also a big fan of the first two Underworld movies (scared to see the third?) and so I'm hoping at some point someone will do a movie that reinstates vampire ass-kickery.
 
True Blood is head, neck, shoulders, chest, abdomen and groin above Twilight.

That said, it ain't Shakespeare and the second season was mostly a waste of time, but it's still kind of fun. And the actress who plays Tara is...tasty.

True Blood is awesome!!!.....and Vampire Diaries is pretty good as well, although ithey all have similarities to Twilight....ie chic falls for bloodsucker.
 
Well don't get me wrong, I get it... Vampires have always been wanted by the various women in the stories with them... Kind of the brutal sensuality of the immortal i guess one could say... My problem with twilight is that they took the ass-kicking side away from the vampires and basically made them into emo wimps with stylish hair. No redeeming qualities. I'll watch a vampire movie with a love story, but i think Twilight is just a teenage love story with a vampire clumsily thrown in.
