Dudes; **** Im Old

Did I miss like a week on dvxuser.com?

Man: 80's sucked. I call them the time when the baby-boomers got into 'the productive age'. About the only good thing I can say about 80s was that it also ended communism in most of Europe.

In 60s, young people were in majority. They demanded change, and eventually got it. Whether or not it was always a change for the better, time will show. In 80s, it was about 50/50. Now, young people are in minority, and the boomers rule. They make their demands once again. This time around, I can say that pretty much everything they get means bad news for humankind.

I agree about the Boomers. I disagree about the '80s -- love those. I think the '70s were much more of what you're talking about.

Oh man!

I would love to have been older during the '70s (if only to see KISS in their prime, but that's another story).

The 80s were just tacky.

Quite possible... remember, we were a decade behind, so I really have NO idea how 70s looked like here, but I imagine it was all gone by the time it rusted through the iron curtain...

Sometimes (often) I feel like I lost a decade of history by moving from Eastern Europe to North America, but that's good - that makes me ten years younger than my peers.

I heard a great expression just today: 'You are only as old as the woman you feel'.

OLD??? I wish I was as OLD ?? as you! I started playing with video in my 30's & it was on 3/4" U-Matic. No prize for counting back the years.
My only ***** is that in retirement I am that busy I don't have enough time to use my DVX.

Cold Turkey. Wasn;t as hard as I thought it would be. Sides' I wanted to feel the pain. Remember what it felt like as the chemical left me and I regained control. Now My workouts are better and I'm playing tennis again (Going to start competitve next month)
