Dubbing to iPod?

I've read some comments here and there about dumping the contents of your P2 card to an iPod. I've looked and searched, but can't confirm this. I'm waiting for my P2 camera to arrive so in the meantime, I'm trying to get up to speed as quickly as possible. This would be an exceptional method for me to use if it were true. I shoot a lot of motorsports, and having the ability to have something as small as an iPod to dump to would be the perfect solution for me. I'm a bit nervous as I'm coming over from the Sony Z1U which I liked very much. The variable frame rate of the P2 is just too good to pass up, however. So can anyone point me in the right direction as to this iPod claim?

Forget iPod, extra slow and painfull plus way more expensive than other options and you lose the ipod functionallity, go with a battery powered portable drive. FW or USB "on the go" varieties work. I carry my 2.5 USB drive that fits in my pocket, hook up USB push a button and it transfers. Be warned - it is not fast - about 5 min for 4gig card but it is easy and for me has ben very reliable.

Thanks for the info and the link. Do you have any particular OTG battery powerede drive that you would recommend?
