Mac Quad-Core w/ Nvidia GeForce 7300GT
Samsung SyncMaster 2220WM (x2)
- Plugged both into the Nvidia using DVI
If I turn on the monitors after I turn on the Mac they go into this "freak out" mode where they keep trying to switch back and forth from Analog to Digital mode and then I have to hard boot the Mac. If I turn on the Mac first they seem to work okay, but then sometimes if the power saver comes on, coming out of power saver they freak out again (but not always). If I go 1 monitor only it seems to be fine, its only with the second monitor that it goes weird.
The 2220WM is replacing a Samsung 215TW pair. The 215TW pair connected to this system never had this problem in anyway shape or form. No settings have been changed since switching them, just unplugged the one set and plugged in the new set.
Anyone got any idea's what might be up? I've pulled the out all my cards and checked them and physically they seem fine and in correctly. So that's not the issue. I don't have a different Mac to connect the 2220WM's to unfortunately. Just kind of hoping maybe someone else has had some kind of similar weirdness and there's just some setting I'm missing here.
