Dual Monitor w/ fullscreen video?

You know what would be nice... I have a dual monitor setup on an ATI RADEON running PPro. Is there a way to set my secondary monitor for fullscreen video preview? So on my primary monitor I can have my timeline and controls etc, then my secondary monitor is fullscreen video preview. It would be so much better than trying to squint into the monitor which is running at 1280x1024, it leaves the 720x480 video fairly small. Plus when its surrounded by near-white software GUI, its even more strain for color correction and all.

any thoughts?

Can't help with this exactly, but what I do to monitor video is run an S-video cable from the DVX, which is still hooked up to my computer via firewire and set to VCR, to a video monitor and in PrPro I set my project settings to play back on desktop hardware for audio and desktop and DV hardware for video. It's not a perfect solution, but it keeps me from squinting until I get a high-end card with video out.

..it is possible.   ..i have a triple monitor setup with an ntsc out to a monitor/tv so ive got four screens in all (the desktop resolution is 3072x768 ). but you can also set it  up so  one of the computer monitors  plays back any video  full screen during playback automatically along with the ntsc out. i dont use it, cause i watch the ntsc out, and the full res monitor window in the nle, but its there if you wanted it. its all run off the matrox parhelia, and the matrox rtx100extreme pro.  i wouldnt trade the parhelia for the world. in ppro, or after effects, or sonic reel dvd, or anything for that matter..i can have a super wide timeline view, and have every other main editing or effects window open with plenty of room at the same time... i never have to minimize anything, so it makes editing much much faster and easier.  im really suprised that not too many people have the parhelia. having such a large desktop is killer. .. then the ntsc out is run off of  the rtx100 extreme pro, and gives me wysiwyg video out for ppro, after effects, or any other video app using a video overlay if you select to use it like that., but the parhelia will trade one of the three monitors for an ntsc out too if you want to run it like that.

i have dual monitors using a matrox p-650 video card and i have a sony professional ntsc monitor for the video.

the sony is connected via s-video to a small sony camera i use as my capture deck.

its a great setup and gives you lots of desktop real estate for the timeline etc.

i may upgrade to the 3 monitor version at some point.
