I am wondering if you guys use dual processor boards for video editing machines. I am wondering if it makes a big difference and if it does, then what is the best board-cpu combo. Thanks.
I have used a dual 2.4 Xeon on several occasions, and it does make a difference, especially in render times (in 3ds max as well). I still prefer a single AMD 64 bit CPU over any dual Intel setup, though... ay caramba, they're unbeatable (1.6 GHz FSB ;D). Can't wait to get a dual AMD 64 motherboard...
