dual core and PPcs3

Hi all,

I'm working in a athlon dual core system. Until last week everithing was working Ok, but this last week has been a pain in the ass.
The problem is that premiere won't use all the proceesing power only the 49-59% of it. So I'm stuck whit countles hours just to render a preview of the timeline, when one week ago it just took 10 minutes.
I'm getting mad!

Do someone know which can be the problem? something to do with premiere or with the PC configuration?

PD: I'm working with windows XP
 
I am having the same problem. During RT previews both cores are working but during rendering only one core is working. I have PP 1.0.
 
First make sure there is no anit-virus type SW interferring with CS3.

Otherwise, uninstall PP CS3, reboot, and then reinstall. It doesn't take that much time to do that sequence.
