Hey, I was just wondering, is there anyway we can start a DVD Studio Pro thread, since that can also be just as important as FCP, Vegas, Premiere, or Avid

What does everyone else think?, is it a valid request?, does anyone else out there feel they can benefit from a seperate DVD style categlorie?

Thanks for listenin,

-Matt-

Hey Matt, I think it's an awesome idea! I've been trying to figure things out on my own and would benfit tremendously if we had a section about DVD burning in general let alone DVD Studio Pro.

I have DVD Studio Pro and vote for a section on it.

Sounds like a plan, lets make this more of a voters thread on seeing if a new categlory for DVD authoring/burning is in need on DVXuser, I acually cant think of anything else this site would need, its a preety solid message board - but there is always room to make a great thing better

I had talked to Barry Green about this subject and he had brought up a very valid point, One that I agree with, and understand

Hi Matt,

Thanks for the suggestion. We already have an Output and Compression forum that covers the topic, are you familiar with that forum,? The problem with creating a forum for every piece of software or topic is that you can end up with very low-traffic forums that make it harder for everyone to keep up with. So, we could consider adding a new forum if the Output forum gets overloaded, but that currently doesn't seem to be the case. Thanks for the input, though--we do keep people's requests in mind when we do updates.

Barry

BTW, I answered your question, and there are two Barry's--the Green and Non-Green versions (that's me). You'll see the S. after my name, but it doesn't stand for Green. So henceforth, you should refer to Barry Green as 'Vegas Barry Green" and me as "MC Zombie". That should cut way down on the confusion.
