DSLR Rig based on K-plate

I am currently shooting with a 5D MKIII and have the Kessler K-plate that I want to be able to take on and off my slider or tripod and maintain my focus controls and monitor. Anyone using the K-plate as a base for a rig?

I have the K-Plate and use it when I want to mount a follow focus, light ring, etc. It's meant to be used with the Kessler Kwik release, which makes it super simple to mount/unmount with your trippod, slider, etc. Are you using the Kessler Kwik Release system?
