DSC Charts

I'm first in line to be schooled on these charts... recently I realized the benefits of a backfocus chart... which you can get for FREE from rondexter.com

After debating a guy about why spending $55 on a mic to use with your $6K cam package... I need somebody to explain to me how that chart is worth $323.

The price diference between the Kodak chart and DSC charts is indeed huge... makes me wonder... Well I hope someone form DSC jump in and explain some more. I find that the articles in their site confuse the future costumer even more then he was before. It looks like they have a great product thought.

The DCS would be best to purchase, if within your budget. The Kodak color is CMYK, more relevant to print media. I purchased the Kodak more for the many steps of greyscale. The Macbeth I will use more for color representation, though it has 6 steps of greyscale on the bottom row.

I feel the same way- a couple hundred $ on a laminated chart? A couple hundred $ on a boompole... it's a stick! I have one for $20 from Lowes!

Hehehe... just giving you a hard time Matt :)
