Hey guys, I have a perplexing problem burning my feature film.
I use Final Cut Express HD to edit, export to Quicktime, then burn in iDVD 6. On a single layer disk, I I used 3.9 gigs of space out of 4.7 and burned a 1 hour, 38 minute movie & a 12-minute behind-the-scenes segment but got artifacting and pixalization on the finished product. So, I put the behind-the-scenes on the same timeline as the movie and simply made it the final chapter. Now, suddenly, a portion of the last scene of my movie as well as the entire behind-the-scenes segment has dropped its audio. The audio is there in Final Cut Express, it’s there in the Quicktime movie, after I export a self-contained movie, and it’s there in the final DVD project in iDVD after I build my menu and DVD, etc---but once I burn it, it’s GONE. I’ve never had this problem before (I've burned the movie many times---but without the extra segment) and I need to figure out what is wrong before I loose my mind!! It literally cuts out the audio mid-sentence in one of my actor’s dialogue! RIDICULOUS! It’s a self-contained movie, so the audio clip is one continuous clip from beginning of movie to end of my behind-the-scenes. What the freak is wrong??
