dropped frames while outputting

I've been trying to output a film - filmed on 16:9. We put the subtitles on the black and since then, everytime we try and output it, it shows dropped frames. Have reinstalled FCP 4.5 but its still drops frame. Please help!

i am having the same problem. have you come up with a solution?

Is it all renderedd? (no red or other render bars)
Can you pre-reder it and then load that in for output?

I had problems sometimes when my project was on a external hard drive and trying to print to tape/drope frames. So if you have your project on a external drive try make a copy on your computer to print to tape.
