I shot a live concert in 24PA. Because I needed to hand back the tapes to the producer of the event, I had to capture the footage I wanted that night... So I captured 4 entire tapes as 4 big files. I know that it is much better to log each clip individually, but I was pressed for time.
So now I'm watching the files and one had a dropped frame during capture about halfway through- from then on, the pulldown is off. I.E. when I step through frame by frame it goes 3 unique frames, 1 copy (Framme 1, Frame 2, Frame 3, Frame 3 Frame 4, ect).
My question is can I split this file and redo to the pulldown on the last half? or do I need to get the tapes again and recapture. It seems possible as the raw file is still dv and not transfered to a true 24p file. I have Premiere Pro 1.5, AE 6.5, quicktime pro and sorenson squeeze 4.
