Drop Frame on Capture

I have been having a problem lately with my home office computer for editing. I have an eMac G4 with 768 MB of memory, running FCP HD 4.5. My problem is when I capture footage using Panasonic AY-DVM63PQ 63 Minute Mini DV Professional Quality Video Cassettes. I use the Panasonic HVX-200 with settings 480/24p, film cam. When I capture I always have dropped frames using these tapes. I have never had this happen with consumer grade miniDV tapes. I can capture footage if I first capture the Video, second the audio then relink the footage.

Would adding more memory help or is my processor not good enough? Or is there something else I am missing?
