Drill my reel.

Sorry about that- must have caught it in mid-upload. It should be working correctly now, I've had a few people test it.

What is there to rub us wrong? Everything looks fantastic! Beautiful stuff. You should be extremely proud. If I had any money, I'd be hiring you for everything I do rather than having to do it myself. Truly top-notch footage. Contratulations!

Yeah man, that's some FANTASTIC work! The only thing I saw that bugged me was in the first portion, with the guy who was writing. It seemed like there was a bit too much flicker from the candle. It looked like you were really trying to sell the fact that it was candle-light.

But hey, if that's my worst complaint, then you've got absolutely nothing to worry about. Great reel.

That was awesome!

You got some nice stuff man! kudos!

Wats the name of that song? and artist? sounds familiar...

Thanks for taking a look, I'm glad you like it!
I agree about the heavy flicker in the first shots. I was hesitant on the day, but the director insisted on more flickering when I was lighting. I was just hoping that the pros of the scene outweighted the con.
How about editing? I was somewhat concerned about intercutting between projects and repetatively coming back to the same ones later in the reel. Then again, I also wanted to keep it interesting, so didn't want to linger on a single project for too long.

Also, the song is Coldplay's "Fix You".

Everything looked great to me. I'm not a terribly experienced camera operator, but it all looked quite beautiful to be honest. The editing was fine to me, it was like watching 10 short films at once! Very well done, in my opinion. I especially liked the b&w stuff (HD?) and the man at the desk at the beginning.

The B/W footage was 16mm, a mix of Kodak 7231 and 7222.

The shots of the girls in the beginning and skating towards the end were HVX.

The scenes with the older man and lightning scene were 35mm, and all else was color 16mm.
