Just finished watching the supplements in Criterion's new release of VAMPYR last night. I especially liked to audio of him delivering a paper he had written (in English), as well as the clips of him discussing aspects of his films (in Danish, subtitled in English). Wow, what a fascinating guy to listen to! He has a lot to say about cinema as an art form, and his views are pretty much the antithesis of Dogme 95 (e.g., he was very much against the trend in cinema toward making things much more "naturalistic" instead of manipulating the setting and image to tell the story).
