Dreams and Dream interpritation

So I was talking with another DVXuser on Skype about dreams and stuff (dont ask how we got onto the subject) and we started looking into dream interpretation.

Im not sure if this is based on solid psychology an real research, or if its just a load of weird phsycic stuff, but either way, its entertaining to read.

Fell from a rope bridge over a chasm, and in my dream, I did hit the ground and got up. That is a dream I will never forget especially the feeling of falling and the feeling of impact (in my dream). Especially after all the "you never hit the ground in a dream" quotes.
 
When they say erection, maybe they mean things that have been erected... like garden sheds and electricity pylons etc etc.....
 
I thought one of the best lines regarding dream interpretation actually came out of The X-files when Mulder said, "Dreams are the answers to questions we haven't learned how to ask yet."

I miss The X-files.

I've spent a lot of time studying dreams, and generally conclude that dream interpretations are crap on a large scale. They are only effective when the individual subject is considered, except where the interpretations are extremely vague. It's also important to note that the majority of dreams fall between meaningless and trivial.
