i just got the panasonic raincover from abelcine.com (ag-yurc100) -- same as the petrol cover except it's black while the petrol is blue ( the panasonic even says "petrol" on the bag.)
i like the cover well enough, but like a few others, thought it would benefit from a drawstring around the lens hood because the velcro really doesn't hold it tight enough and it slips.
i can't post pics, but just wanted to let those of you that have the panasonic/petrol cover, it's very easy to put a drawstring on it. it helps tremendously.
take a length of hanger about a foot long, hook about a foot and a half length of decent cord on the end (bend one end of the hanger over the cord so it holds it,) puncture a small hole with a crochet needle through one end of the leather sleeve (between the nylon and the leather) and thread the cord through. finish it off with a tension device (the kind that has a spring inside and you put both ends of the cord through, and when you release a push-button, the cord it held in place. i don't know what they are called -- they are sometimes used to hold shoelaces together and tight so you don't have to tie them.)
hopes this all makes sense. if not, let me know and i'll try to explain it better.
it does make a big difference holding the rain cover around the lens hood.
