DR-10x on sale

that's so frustrating, I just ordered one yesterday off of amazon...going to see if I can return. Thanks for the link!
 
If I get wireless lavs (not the best maybe azden or rode) would it be overkill to get a pair of these for additional backup? I am doing a doc and the audio is so critical. I can attach a lav to this right? I saw some lavs with XLR ends on BHPhoto. Thanks!

Tascam makes a very similar model to the X model that is made for lavs. The DR10x I referenced is set up for a dynamic mic like a interview mic. I don't believe the X model will supply the power you need for a lav.
