2 questions:

Is there another site where well-known DPs hang out? I ask b/c I always see these commercials or shows and think the cinematography is gorgeous and want to know who the DP was, but have no idea where to look. I figure people on a site like that would know.

2nd question. Is there a film 'equivalent' to this site? I enjoy dvxuser b/c it's big enough to contain a lot of information, but small enough where people respect each other. That's kind of what I'm looking for.

thanks, c.g.

Re: dps, where are you?

Try cinematography.com a lot of ASC lowasses full with themselves. There's also the ASC forum, but I'm afraid non ASC members cannot post, we can only read.

But noting compares to this, be sure.

Why not here? i have seen some great stuff shot by many here and some great discussions too. I don't think anyone here isn't a pro. Go to "more" pro sites and you deal with as*h*les such as myself who answer every question but the ones asked and have egos that are bigger than the board. i like these boards beeter as they deal with stuff we all do.
