DPA Lav's?

I have a pair of DPA 4060. They are great. With the two changeable grids you get either the normal lav treble frequency lift or a bigger one (lav under clothing). What's best: They are so good and flat without the grids that they can be used alone as excellent music recording microphones. They are most perfect omni pattern of any mics made, which makes them work really good as an AB pair. With home made 6/8mm carbon fiber stands they are practically invisible in even live situations.

Thanks Petrus! Did you consider the 4071? It's kind of unclear what the difference is.

It seems that the 4071 has built-in low cut filter and fixed screeen, which creates a presence boost for vocals. While the 4060 does not have low cut filter but does configurable screens that can create a presence boost (but no low cut). Is that correct?

Thanks again.

I have the 4061 and DPA are very good mices to me.

But for fiction I rather use sanken cos11. They're very (well...if you're trained more or less) easy to hide.
