DP needed in Philly area ASAP

DP with knowledge of DVX100A for upcoming feature length film that will be shot from July 30th till August 13th. No pay but food and copy of film is provided. I am entering this into Sundance as well as seeking possible distribution. Email me ASAP if interested.

I know you got to do what you got to do, but I am wondering how many responses you have gotten from people saying they will work for free. Being a DP on a set is lot of work to be doing it for free especially if you the Director wants a certain look. Being as though I have been shooting professionally for over 10 years now, I don't think I could work for free. I have own DVX100 rig and I work in Philly.

We all work for free at the begining of our film careers. Some make lots of money at times and not so much or no money other times. For instance, Ellen Kuras, A.S.C. who shot Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (among many others) was probably paid very well. She also shot Personal Velocity (two scenes of which were shot in her own home to save on location costs) and was more than likely paid a small token salary. The film only had a total budget of $150,000. She probably did this to keep working. Filmmakers do this because we love making movies. It's not always about the money. If you live in Philly, why not give some of your time to this project.

LOL! Time is of the essence with me! Where about in Philly are you planning to shoot? Dates of the shoot? I work fulltime/nights in the city. So I am only available on my days off which is Mondays and Tuesdays.
