Hey all,
Due to scheduling conflicts I'm looking for a new DP for a music video I'm doing this month. It's a little bit of a slapdash affair/labor of love, and unfortunately there's no pay and little budget, but it is for a band some people have heard of, and they have pretty much guaranteed that when the video is done they will get it on MTV Japan (don't ask me) with no trouble.
Obviously this all sounds a little shady, but I assure you it's not. If you want a music video that's been aired for your reel, or like the idea of being Big In Japan, get in touch with me. I'm more than happy to answer any questions you might have.
A few clarifications:
We're shooting on an HVX-200, with Redrock M2 and Nikons.
The look of the piece is pseudo-verité, with a journalistic bent. If you've seen Gondry's "Bachelorette" video for Bjork, that's sorta it.
Please have a reel. If you don't have a reel, I can't consider you.
