I need the simplest way to downconvert hd 720 footage to burn to sd. I read that you have to downconvert through the camera but that doesnt make sense to me. Cant i do it through FINAL CUT?
I've read on the forum numerous times that the best way to convert HD footage to SD is to export the finished product as a Quicktime mov then take that file and go through Compressor. I've done i many times and it looks great.
If there are better ways, someone say, but this is what I've always read.
