downconverting HD to DVCPRO50

Can anyone advise me of the best way to do this using FCP. I'm planning ashoot Which will use DVCPRO50 for the main event coverage but I want to use under/over cranking and timelapses for some shots and will need to incorporate it in the same edit. Im not familiar with FCP so if anyone could advise of a good workflow Id appreciate it.

Same as any format on the HVX, nothing special. Either capture from tape just like DV, only using DVCPRO-50 settings, or from P2 card using the Import Panasonic P2 feature in FCP.
