So I've been racking my brain about which mattebox to get, I was just looking at the B&H site, drooling over the Chrosziel, when I saw another one that works for the DVX. Now when people speak of the Chrosziel mattebox I am assuming that they are talking about the 41153pk (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=300596&is=REG). Then I stumbled across one called a sunshade with filter holders, the 44001dvxk (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=275737&is=REG) A mattebox is nothing more than a sun shade and filter holders, I am having a hard time seeing why one is twice as much as the other. Anyone know anything about the 44001dvxk?

If you plan to shoot 16x9 with the anamorphic adapter, then you will need the 41153PK.

i'd almost buy it to use with the anamorphic but wait for this you pay another 500 for their side wings! for the price I'd expect them to come with the kit.

A few weeks ago, I was talking to the 16x9 people, and they told me they were working on new, less expensive side wings for the Chroziel matte box. Should be out around the first of the year.

I'm not using the 16x9. So I think I should be fine with the 44001dvxk
