DOOM the Movie

Umm, anyone remember Alien?

That's all this is; minus a plot of course.
 
The only OK part in the trailer was the end ("Sir, are you ok?"). The rest is just... Doom is supposed to be friggin bloody and damn scary, isn't it?
 
It's just another vehicle for The Rock.

Amazing with gas prices where they are we (americans) can still make stuff like this and expect people to come to the theater.

Hey in the UK it is now £1 a litre, or nearly $10 a gallon! Even less incentive to leave home for this tripe.
 
WOW. I'd heard years ago this was being made, so now it's going to be real. Yeah it looked so trite. And MAN I am sick of those types of chocolatey voice overs.

What's really sad is that Resident Evil 4 actually has one of the best potential of cinematic adaption I've ever seen, and yet they're getting that Milla chick back again...
 
Trailer sucked, and I can't much defend the plot.....but I will say that at ComicCon the footage was apparently much better. I doubt this will go RE and suck ass. Karl Urban (lead guy) said that the film definitely earned its "R" rating. There's supposed to be tons of gore.

I guess we'll see....

Am I the only one who doesn't mind paying for mindless killing and gore? :)
 
I will see it. Those id FPSers got me through college!

Supposedly all the monsters that are in the games in the movies, so don't worry about that. Also there is a first person perspective scene in the movie with the guy going through crammed dark hallways and monsters jumping out and ****, that scene alone will get me in the theater...wish some footage of that was online (from ComiCon)

Aliens
Predator

NB: Those words are on different lines and do not have a "vs" between them!

I'm not too big into the alien/monster-slasher genre, but if I'm paying to watch Chow Yun Fat shoot people, then sure!
