I'm here on my friends 22 inch lcd monitor playing Doom 3...i think my computer would melt into a puddle of plastic and metal if I tried to play it on mine...wow...
Anybody play this? It's really good, but man...I feel like I'm going to hurl!
yes, i cant play that game. i tried. after about 30min i was scared shitless. the cds are sitting in a drawer. its too much for me...maybe cause i was playing it in the middle of the night. i dunno...im such a puss. its an amazing looking game though...this stuff is getting really good.
Do you need a new card...The real answer would be...ANYTHING you can do to get your computer as FAST as possible is needed with that game...or it lags...reeeal bad...

I'm a long time gamer (anyone remember Gunfighter for the Atari...great game) I know Far Cry was supposed to be good. I'm more of a console gamer though...
IAL do you played Far Cry? I pictured you more of a Pokemon player... heh Jk...
dangit! , now you had to go and pick fun at Pokemon eh?
i dont really play games alot, but some of my freinds and i get together and play stuff every now and then. Battelfield, Far Cry, america's army, other ubisoft /tom clancy/red storm games. to the occasional mario kart or golden eye on console
one of my good freinds owns an online video game co, so we all go there, and sit down at one of the 20 some gaming PCs and kill some time before a movie or a trip or something. usually on some "guys day out" or something like that. :
but , self admitted.. i do occasionally watch the pokemon cartoon on weekdays. Im usually home snacking with my daughter when its on, and we watch pikachu do his thing... lol

no way man. im chicken ****. when i was a kid games like resident evil had just come out and silent hill. those things scared the **** out of me. seriously, i managed to get through resident evil and all that...but it would constantly give me the chills. D3 was way to immersive...i felt like i was there...especialy as i was palying it on a big ass 23 incher and a good set of speakers. i think the sound in that game pushes it over for me...so damned creepy.

Yeah, I remember playing Castle Wolfenstein on my system that I had hooked up to my stereo. Very cool to hear that machine gun blast away really loud. But, then there were the sections were it was really quite and the creepy music played. Senses kick in and I'm sneaking around knowing I'm going to run into trouble. Then BAM a guard sneaks up on me! Coming out of the stereo it scared the crap out of me. But very cool...

Roger that. I play DC almost daily for a little while, and I think that Hudson plays sometimes, too.
Doom 3 was a good game and Far Cry was good as well. HL2 should be a great game considering that they're 13 months overdue with it. STALKER and Battlefield 2 are two games that I've been keeping my eye on for a while now. FPS all the way, baby.
ill probably see you guys in the feild if thats the case. we started playing halo cause of of my friends just bought us all X boxes.. its a pretty cool game to help pass the time on the rainey days when the fam is out and about girly shopping. id like to get the PC version if i get it just for better graphics and control. ..i dont know if i wil though. buying a video game in my house is a once a year sort of thing for the family, and my wife only likes happy mario type stuff.
God!! I don't have enough time to finish my works, projects, write short films, take care of my son, check my cameras, budget, teach at the university... I need 29 hours a day. And please one to play whatever on the computer. Last game I remember play more than 45 minutes was tetris...
