Wow, someone sure has a chip on their shoulder. I'll forgo the obvious joke about cheese and whine :violin:
Look, you started a thread in which you stated your opinion... that follow focuses are useless... as an absolute fact, and told everyone not to buy them. Shock of shocks, a lot of people like them and disagreed with you. When called on it, you explain they are useless based on all of ONE bad experience that by your own description was mostly your own fault due to lack of planning and foresight. Then you have the gall to accuse several very talented and respected individuals who pointed out that this was mostly your own fault and you're wrong, as being payed lackies of FF manufacturers. Yeah, that's really going to convince people you know what you're talking about.
Please, do not construe your own opinion... based on your one single experience where by your own description you screwed up and didn't know what you were doing... as being the absolute truth. That is simply the epitome of arrogance.
Dude, get on a real set where you have 250,000$ riding on nailing every shot in 3 takes on a dolley, or jib.... then talk to me about how valuable a FF is.....

OP: My FF is stupid, useless and a waste of money.
1ST BUNCH OF GUYS: No it's a useful tool. I've found it invaluable on many occasions.
2ND BUNCH OF GUYS: I find with practice you don't need it and now I prefer not to use it.
ALL TO EACH OTHER: Why are you being such an a-hole?

No point in keeping it open. I think basically a new crop comes in, posts what others have, realizes that no one is going to listen to them, moves on. But no new or useful information and it's getting contentious.
