Don't Look Up

I'll damn it with Faint Praise. It was fine for a single viewing. At least the ending didn't have a bunch of old Action Hero's saving the world at the last second.
 
As a small aside, many people seem to think there is only one post credit scene. You have to stick around to the bitter end, after all the foreign language credits, to see the other one.
 
I loved it. Pretty much a perfect satire. It was just a little depressing how realistic the irrational behavior was.

So many good performances. So many good lines.

It was insightful not only of the climate change societal response but of response to any collective catastrophe. Or just a metaphor for our myopic pettiness in the knowledge of own mortality.

Somehow it still made me very sad at the end despite all the humor.

Melancholia would make a good companion piece.

I really enjoyed it and laughed a lot...and then was very sad at the end like you.
