Don't know any actors. Where can I find some?

I don't know anyone who I'd playing a role in one of my films, because I don't know anyone w/ experience. I've read that mandy.com and craigslist.com are reliable. Do people actually find actors off these? Do you post ads or do you go through ads messaging actors? Are there any other sites I should look at?
 
Have you tried Starbucks? Just ask your waiter... :)

On the other hand, there are other sites, like I found one here in Orlando called the Green Room. Try googling "actors, (insert your State here)" .
 
I've used facebook, starnow and visiting my local acting schools and quietly sitting and watching. I've never used craigslist or mandy but I'm not from the US.
 
I got good responses from craiglist and I actually got my actors for my short films on there... also networking on myspace and facebook....

Haha, go to any restaurant on Universal City Walk, or in or around Hollywood and ask your server I bet they act Haha. I have set up 2 casting auditions with LA Casting they are great. Also if you want affordable unknowns, try college campuses, screen acting teachers are so helpful when it comes to setting up casting auditions. They want there students to grow and learn plus there is a big group usually who shows around 40 or 50. I have personally never had any problems with the actors either most of them are to nervous to act annoying.

i've always used nowcasting.com which is free for you, not for actors. i haven't had good luck finding talented actors on craigslist.
