Don't kill me

please.

I have researched this many a time, but have yet to be able to pull it off correctly.

Slow mo shooting.

60i then slowed to 24p ( yes i even has barrys book but for some reason am becoming dumb at this procedure. )

How is it done? I've tried opening a 29.9808098 yadda yadda timeline, inserting my 60i footage, deinterlacing, slowing it down, then importing it into a 24p timeline. However it reads the footage as 24p, and it seems as though many of the frames are cut out, giving me the same quality as if i imported 24p and slowed it down.

What am i doing wrong here?

Premier pro 1.5 and 2.

thanks, hopefully some of you have enough patience with this retartedness and can just pat me on the back and say,,, its okay papa, its okay..

I think deinterlacing in Premiere actually makes it 30p instead of 60p like you wanted. I have the deinterlacing has to do done in AE.

ive tried this as well,

what im looking for is someone who uses premier pro to give me a step by step procedure, because i am sure there is one simple thing i am doing wrong, but am clueless as to what it is.
