Just got home from a party tonight. Not just any party, but a party to celebrate the completion of our short film some of you may recall I have been a part of for the past several months. A ten minute short entitled 3:52. (partial details on currently on IMDB)

Shot on 35mm, edited in Final Cut Pro HD (by yours truly), and soon to be mastered in HD after a well-needed rest from the project.

The writer/director submitted it to Sundance last Friday. So now we wait and see.

Just want to put the energy out in the universe. Put your mind to it, and you can accomplish almost anything. I wouldn't have believed it before working with the small group of people assembled on this project, and without huge thanks to Panavision, Sony, Kodak, Deluxe, and Modern Video.

I hate to keep teasing everyone with this, but I promise to post stuff as soon as we can.

Until then...Keep shooting.

I originally joined on as storyboard artist back in November 2004. Then slowly took on more, eventually becoming Executive Producer, and ultimately Editor and sound designer - living, breathing, and sleeping this film for what seems like forever. 10 minutes never took so much of my life. HAHA.

There are some production stills in the Photo Gallery from that link above. You guys can see the DP holding a Panavision GII on his shoulder on location at my house. I still get a kick out of that. But the really cool shots are seeing that camera on the dolly. Almost looks like we knew what we were doing. :grin:
 
"A native Angelino" Like that means something.

Keep us in the loop on this! Can't imagine shooting film much less with that rig. It must look rad in your NLE.
 
What are you talking 'bout PK. I've got a 1st class ticket reserved in your name from Nong Khai non-stop to Sundance. We'll work out the logistics if they don't accept our film. Otherwise, let me know how the weather is in Utah, eh?

Did I mention we're throwing the wrap party at Hudson's house? That's cool, right John?
 
It's about time we get an update! Congrats on the finished product! Ya know, you're director is kinda cute! She single? My friend is intrested. ;) Hey, I want to go to the wrap party! Cool stuff bro and can't wait to see some images!
