Re: Dolly

I have got to get one of these dollys man! How much? I will pay you to build another one for me. Please!

Re: Dolly

Matthew-
I dont recall the exact cost of that Hi-Hat/bowl column but I do remember experiencing the worse case of sticker shock in some time. Perhaps RWM can post the exact price for us. Looks solid as hell though.

Re: Dolly

Holly crap that dolly is huge! I thought it was a compact sized then you put the operator on there for reference!!

Re: Dolly

RWM are you incognito in the picture because your a wanted criminal or something. The top of the dolly looks like its steel, is it?

Re: Dolly

...back from a shooting...

Well, as I wrote before, the Material for both, wheel and rail setups are around 600 – 700 EUR but WITHOUT HiHat, Euro-Mount, Bazooka. The prices for this 3 things was around 1000 EUR but I have to buy them. A hydraulic bazooka will be great but the best price I found was around 1800 EUR + Tax. To much for the moment.... :-/

Hey PFP_VIDEO, I thought here is NOT a model competition and I don't want to distract somebody's attentions. :-) The Frame is steel, the plate bonded wood and verry hard.

Sorry mattsdp, I don't want to build it again. It takes a lot of time.

whitm, special for you I make 2 photos for a minute. I think they tell you everyting. Most of the parts I buy in DIY or mechanical stores. That was impotant to keep the costs low.

@ all: Thanks for the feedback and compliments!!!

Re: Dolly

Though RWM's dolly is totally killer, I know there is a knockoff of the Mathew's doorway dolly that can be had for about $1200. I don't remember who makes it though.
