Blaxploitation films of the 70's were precursors of what goes on in this place. Tarantino must feel ten years older today.

What a bummer. Somewhere I have a Rudy Ray Moore stand up comedy movie on tape, it's great. He's also like the godfather of hip hop with his stories/raps. Also, the background music in Dolemite, not just his songs, but the background music is phenomenal. Some killer drum & bass work.
 
I don't know who I'm gonna' miss more... Dolemite or his all girl army of kung fu killers.

Wow. Believe it or not I was compared to "Dolemite/The Human Tornado" in a film review a while ago. RIP Rudy.

Bummer. When my wife and I went to Italy a few years ago, one place we went was the Dolemites. The entire time we were there I kept thinking, "I really wish I had a Dolemite t-shirt." Even if no one else would've understood the joke.
