Dolby Stereo

Hi all, does anyone know how to make my audio timeline Dolby Stereo? I'm working with adobe premiere pro 1.5. Or do I need other software to do this? My audio footage was shot with the dvx 100 and I want the audio on the DVD to be Dolby Stereo. Thanks! CZ

Edit your project as per normal. The Dolby encoding happens when you encode your project for DVD, where it's avaliable as an option in the audio settings. If you're going to DVD straight from Premiere, then you get three free uses of the Dolby encoder before you have to purchase it.

Thanks! So just: file/export/export for DVD/Encoding/Edit/audio/Surcode for Dolby digital ? Thanks again!

I Have a Question:

I Have a Question:

I have used up all of my three Dolby trials. Now, however, what I notice is that the Dolby option is combined with the "High Quality 4 X 3 VBR 2 pass" option when burning to DVD. The software won't allow me to use the High Quality 4 X 3 VBR 2 pass option when burning to DVD because the Dolby sound option is combined with it. It only allows me to now use the "High Quality 4 x 3 CBR 1 pass" option of the "Progressive 4 x 3 VBR 2 pass" option.

What can I do to be able to burn to DVD using the High Quality 4 x 3 VBR 2 pass option without the Dolby SurCode? Do I have to forego that option and choose "force variable bit rate" in the next box?

Thanks in advance.
