D'oh! Help with popup docking!

Hey All!
Newbie here and I have a problem. Im using Vegas pro 8 amd the last time I used the text tool I accidently docked the popup tool for the text and I can't figure how to get it back to the free floating window.
Im going totally mental! Used to be, whenever I used the text tool a popup would appear in a window I could drag & drop wherever I wanted it. Now its docked & LOCKED where you see it in the pic & I dont know how to get it back to how it was. HELP????

look at the top left hand corner in the tool window. you'll see an "x" to close it, below the "x" theres a triangle, and below that there are a bunch of vertical dots. click and hold on those dots to drag the window out of its dock.
 
OMG!!! Thanx soooo much! I always wondered wot those dots were. Not sure I kno ALL their uses, but at least I can get that damn window floating again.
