In Canadian TV, there's an ad featuring Rick Mercer talking about the "One Ton Challenge" where the DOF is extremely minimal. This commercial has bugged me for weeks, since I couldn't figure out how they were shooting minimal DOF, using a wide angle lens, and shoulder-mounting the whole time.
The only way I figure they can achieve this is with macro.
Anybody seen the ad or figured out how they did the DOF?
